P7 Intervention
Peer Educators work with P7 pupils for six weekly sessions, discussing behaviour, risks and consequences, focussing in particular on drugs and alcohol. Peer Educators are also involved in discussing feelings about moving on to secondary school, using their own experience of transition.
Safe Taysiders
Safe Taysiders is an annual personal and community safety event for Primary pupils in Dundee, co-ordinated by Tayside Police. Peer Educators are involved as “experts” for the day, running drugs workshops alongside the professional “experts” from other safety awareness agencies. Over 700 pupils attend this event in a two-week period.
