Whats on offer. It’s important to know what rights you have when accessing our service. The most important one you probably want to know is: we are a confidential service; this means that when you come to our service we will keep what you talk about private and not pass on information to anyone outside the service, even if you’re under 16. The only time we would have to pass on information about you is if we were SERIOUSLY concerned about your safety, or you were putting someone else at risk. As well as staff keeping things private we also expect people using the service to respect other young people’s right to privacy, so if you recognise someone in the drop-in, think before asking them what they’re in for, they might feel embarrassed and not want people knowing their business. We work in partnership with people regarding their rights and particularly young people in care. Produced with young people 'Suits You' is a ‘Group Agreement’ that everyone coming to the drop-in should stick to, so that everyone feels safe and respected when coming to the service. Backchat!! Not happy with the service? Then say so! The only way you guys will keep coming to our drop-in is if you feel safe, respected and listened to, so if you don’t feel this say so on our backchat form, or if we’re doing a good job feel free to pay us a compliment! On our confidential computer based and paper based ‘backchat’ just put a comment, concern or complaint and we’ll do something about it:) |
