Talk to Someone

Sometimes we need to talk to someone!

Things happen in life which are sad, confusing, hurt us or simply make us feel a bit different to normal. This is ok! We all get like this.

Talking about it helps, here at The Corner we have several options of how you can talk to someone. Talking to someone at The Corner doesn’t need to be face to face if you are not ready, we have online support too!

  • Just click HERE(LINK) to send us a message and we will get in touch to organise a video chat (it’s a bit like Skype or facetime).
  • Click HERE(LINK) to book an appointment to come in and speak to staff
  • Check out the live chat (LINK) feature, if we are online and ready to chat just send us a message and we will get back to you. If we are not here right now we will get back to you as soon as we can
  • If you visit us in drop-in a member of staff can have a chat with you about what is worrying you and we can arrange what support might be best. We have Counsellors and other trained staff ready to help.

What is counselling? You might sometimes hear the words ‘talking therapy’, counselling is one way to do this.Counselling offers you a safe space to explore what it is you want to talk about. A trained counsellor will help you make sense of what is happening and offer you some support to find a way to cope and moveon. Counsellors do not give you all the answers but they do help you find the best answers for you!
